This fine watercolour on paper by Colin M. Baxter (British, Master Mariner, born 1963) depicts the Baltic Fleet leaving Spithead, March 1854. The central ships are HMS Duke Of Wellington abd HMS Fairy. It is signed to the lower right. The painting is well presented in a wooden frame which is glazed and has double lined mounts.
