Stuck to the front cover is a bookmark made by a child with “Commander (Air), 826 ‘C’ FLT.
There was a RAF Vickers C/n 826 (XR806) that played an interesting role in the Falklands: on the 22-24 June 1982 Vickers 826 carried PM Mrs. Thatcher to New York, for her address to the UN General Assembly followed by a night stop, and onwards to Andrews AFB for a meeting with President Ronald Reagan, returning on the 24th. Crewed by Sqn Ldr Mick Dobson and Flt Lt Richard King.
*Condition*
Both magazines are in very good condition. Flight Deck has slightly worn corners and spine and has the book mark stuck to the front cover. The bookmark has some staining and a coffee cup mark. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
