Two Original Photographs of Inter-War Submarine K12. These photographs originally formed part of the Lou Britton British Submarine Collection, which was acquired by the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Gosport in 2007.

HMS K12 was a British K-class submarine built by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle upon Tyne. Laid down in October 1915, she was commissioned in August 1917. K12 survived the Battle of May Island but collided with K2 in 1924, sustaining damage. She was scrapped in 1926 at Charlestown.
K12 displaced 1,800 tons surfaced and 2,600 tons submerged, measuring 338 feet (103 m) in length. Powered by oil-fired boilers and steam turbines, she reached 24 knots surfaced and 9 knots submerged. Armed with ten 18-inch torpedo tubes, two 4-inch deck guns, and a 3-inch AA gun, she had a crew of 59.
