~ Crescent Toys Medieval Knights Set Circa 1953~
This is Crescent metal medieval knights set made in England around 1953.
The set consists of seven hand-painted knights on foot. Two of the knights have “Made In England” embossed on their bases.
The base of the box has the Crescent toys logo and the patent number “20283”.
The box has an illustrated cardboard sleeve which also has a fold out display that can be used with the box to form a castle.
~ Dimensions ~
The tallest of the knights is 3 inches (7.7cm) tall.
The box is 16.7 inches (42.5cm) wide, 3 inches (7.8cm) tall and 1 inch (2.7cm) deep.
The set weighs 215grams.
~ Condition ~
The set is in good condition for its age. The toys have some paint loss as shown.
The fold out display is slightly bent.
The box has some minor wear at the edges and corners but the colours have not faded and it presents well.
