~ Player’s Cigarettes “Life Aboard A Man O’War” ~
A complete set of Player’s “Life aboard a Man O’War” (1805 to 1905) cigarette cards. The set of 50 cards is unnumbered and was originally issued during 1905. The cards all revolve around showing everyday life aboard a Man O’War ship, a British Royal Navy expression for a powerful warship or frigate from the 16th to the 19th century.
These sets are already rare & their acquisition is further made more difficult by the absence of numerical guides.

The vertical cards have a width of 1.5 inches (3.75cm) & a height of 2.5 inches (6.25cm). The horizontal cards have a width of 2.5 inches (6.25cm) & a height of 1.5 inches (3.75cm).
The frame has a width of 21 inches (53.25cm), a height of 19 inches (48.25cm) and a depth of 1 inch (2.5cm). It weighs 1.76 kg.
~ Condition ~
The cards are in an overall good condition. The frame has some minor wear around the left edge, but remains in a good condition.
