A lovely quality mid Victorian fine art engraved print entitled ‘Lady Hamilton As Nature’.
The picture shows Lady Hamilton sat with her dog on her lap.
The piece was engraved by M. Cormack, after an original painting by George Romney.
It was printed by T. Ross & Son.
The print is presented in a glazed, gilt frame.
~ Dimensions ~
The frame measures 29 inches (74cm) wide by 34 inches (86cm) tall. The main image measures 19 inches (48cm) by 23 inches (58cm). It weighs 4.85Kg.
~ Condition ~
The paper is quite oxidised to the centre which is most apparent around the borders of the image.
There are hints of possible mould and various debris under the glass.
The frame is in fair condition with minor wear.

Lady Emma Hamilton (26th April 1765 – 15th January 1815) is best remembered as the mistress of Lord Nelson and as the muse of George Romney.
