~ Vintage Chrome Car Mascot Modelled As An Eagle Signed C H Paillet And Stamped AEL ~
The chromed brass piece was designed by the French sculptor Charles Paillet for Alvis cars in the 1920's. It is stamped 'AEL' to the front and signed 'C. H. Paillet' to the side.
