~ A George III Silver Vinaigrette Birmingham, 1806 by Samuel Pemberton ~
A George III hallmarked silver vinaigrette of rectangular form with canted corners engraved with initials and dated 1810 to the base. The hinged lid enclosing a pierced and engraved floral grille. The piece has a gilt interior.
The piece is hallmarked for Birmingham 1806 and an ‘S.P’ makers mark for Samuel Pemberton.

The piece has a width of 3.5 cm, a depth of 2.5 cm and a height of 0.7 cm. It weighs 15 g.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in very good condition. There is, or course, minor exterior wear. All hinges work well and it opens and closes tightly though the grill sits a little off centre.
