~ A George V Silver Three-Piece Tea Set Birmingham 1929 ~
The set has an oval form with button feet and includes a teapot, a sugar bowl and a cream jug. They were produced in Birmingham in 1929.
The original receipt from W. Owen & Son of 28 Elm Grove, Southsea dated 10th November 1930 giving the initial purchase price of £8.10.0 is included (not shown).
~ Dimension ~
The teapot length is 10.7 inches (27.3 cm) and the height is 6 inches (5.2 cm). It weighs 504g.
The sugar bowl length is 6.3 inches (16 cm) and the height is 3.8 inches (9.5 cm). It weighs 155g.
The cream jug length is 4.7 inches (12 cm) and the height is 3.9 inches (10 cm). It weighs 134g.
~ Condition ~
The set is in very good condition, there are a few pin prick dents on the milk jug and teapot. The teapot has surface limescale inside. The hallmarks are worn but are legible.
