An attractive Art Deco silver compact, beautifully decorated with engine turned decoration, mirror and gilt silver powder holder.
The piece is hallmarked on the powder holder and it is marked with the Birmingham assay stamp dating it to 1937 and with a ‘T&S’ makers mark for Turner & Simpson.

~ Condition ~
The piece in good condition, a few light surface marks consistent with handling. The powder pad is not present, the cloth gauze is partially detached. The mirror is slightly stained.
