~ Ancient Order Of Foresters Badge ~
The badge is of gilt brass with a white metal plaque.
A soldier, holding a shield with various decorations, stands in front of a bush. One side is a grown bush of roses, leaves & clovers, the other side is a growing thorn bush. Below this is a plaque with large lettering inside “PCR”, PCR stands for Past Chief Ranger of a local Court. Just above this, in miniscule lettering, reads “C.Tutill, City Road, London”.
A banner above a horn reads “Unit Benevolence, Ncori”.
Foresters Friendly Society is a British friendly society which was formed in 1834 as the Ancient Order of Foresters. At 31 December 2012 the society had 65,221 members. Its head office is in Southampton, England.
