Brass inclinometer list indicator original

A very nice old ships gauge to indicate the list or roll of the ship, this brass faced example is Circa early 20th century or older.
*Condition*
I n good condition with no damage, the indicator has clearly not moved for some years as it has left a clean shadow on the face (it does move freely) It has either been hung on a wall or on a ship with excellent sailors.

~ Circa 1850 Gilt Half Horse ~
The piece is a hollow back in relief piece of brass with a gilt wash, depicting a stallion with saddle and bridle. The accoutrements are in bright gilt, the horse's body is in a semi-matt finish. There are a bolt and nut finishing to the reverse.
~ Condition ~
The gilt is worn in places, otherwise fine.

The horse is 25 cm (9.75 inches) wide by 21 cm (8.25 inches) tall.
