The piece depicts an African style shield with various scenes from the First Matabele War interlaced with various drawings of shields, rifles and deer/oxen heads.
At the top of the shield is the arms of the British South Africa Company.
The lower end of the piece is stamped “Jane & Cook Jue Et Del.”
It is in a glazed wooden oak frame.

The piece has a fair amount of foxing but the print remains extremely visible and in good condition.
