Each book has marbled front & back covers and leather spines.

The books each have a width of 6 inches (15.2 cm), a height of 9 inches (22.8 cm) & a depth of between 1 ½ – 2 inches (3.7 cm – 5.1cm).

~ Condition ~
All 8 volumes contain wear that would be expected for books this age.
Volume 1 has a large proportion of the spine torn off.
Volume 2 has a small tear on the top of the spine, some scuffing on the front & back plate.
Volume 3 has a small tear on the top of the spine.
Volume 4 has a small tear to the front plate and on the spine.
Volume 5 has some minor wear to the plates & spine which has been worn causing the title to be faded.
Volume 6 has a large proportion of the spine torn off, with the black plate loose.
Volume 7 has some scuffing to the front plates and spine, causing the title on the spine to be slightly faded.
Volume 8 has both the front & back covers torn from the spine, with minor damage to the lower end of the spine.
