This is a charming jade carving of an old man with a long beard, holding a flower.

It has been bored through from the head to the feet to allow for use as a pendant.

The jade is beige with areas fading into a beautiful white and brown towards the lower edges.

The piece is dated to the Qing period or earlier.

The jade has a height of 1.9 inches (5 cm), a width of 0.8 inches (2cm) & a depth of 0.8 inches (2 cm).

It weighs 41 g.
