Here we have a lovely pin brooch in platinum and rose gold made in the 19th century by the jewellers W. Wearne of Cambourne, Cornwall.
The address given in the presentation box lets us date this piece to the opening of this shop in 1894.
The brooch is platinum with a rose gold frame set with 15 small diamonds.
The presentation box is velvet and satin with the makers name and address in the back.

The brooch is 2 inches (5 cm) wide.
The brooch weighs 6.4 grams.
~ Condition ~
The brooch has some wear that looks to be from polishing.
The pin has bent with use but still is fully functional.
The satin of the box’s liner has stained to an off white.
The velvet has worn off round the edges of the presentation box.
