~ Circa 1910 Britannic & Co Three Draw Pocket Leather Bound Telescope ~
This is a good example of an early 20th century (circa 1910) three draw telescope.
Made by Britannic, B.C & Co, this telescope is a 3 draw one with a brown cow hide leather body. Each internal section is of brass.
It has been marked on the 1st barrel ‘BRITANNIC’, ‘B.C & CO’. ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’’.

The closed length is 10.5 inches (26.7 cm).
The overall length when fully deployed (including the sun shade) is 24.5 inches (62.3 cm).
The barrels diameter is 2.2 inches (5.5 cm).
The objective lens diameter is 1.57 inches (4 cm).
The total weight is 880 g.
~ Condition ~
The optics are superb & as crisp. The leather is in good condition. A number of scratches to the brass, with a zig zag shaped scratch to the second draw.
