~ Circa 1930 Two Silver Collared Cut Crystal Glass Baccarat Decanters~
A lovely set of two cut glass decanters with silver collars by fine crystal glassware manufacturers ‘Baccarat’ of France.
The decanters are of the same style one being large and one small.
The decanters are of bulbous form with faceted bodies. They have wide necks with silver collars. They have multi-faceted, globular stoppers.
The underside of each decanter is marked ‘Baccarat, France’.
The collars have marks for silver which are rather worn, and makers marks which again are slightly worn but start ‘TFr…’.
~ Dimensions ~
The larger decanter measures 11.5cm (4 ½ inches) by 19cm (7 ½ inches).
The smaller measures 9cm (3 ½ inches) by 16.5cm (6 ½ inches).
Together they weigh 2.35Kg.
~ Condition ~
The smaller decanter has a few tiny chips to both the body and stopper. The larger is similar with also a chip below the collar.
The silver collars are both in good condition with minimal wear.
