~ Edwardian Colman’s Mustard Classical Greek Shop Counter Display Tin ~
The tin from the very early 20th century is embossed to four sides with Greek maidens and children with a gilt and sea green finish. On the inside of the lid is Colman’s trademark.
From the early 20th Century, this tin was used as a shop counter item to sell their mustard.

There is general surface wear and corrosion, typical for an item of this type for this period. It is free from major dents and the hinge works well.

The tin is 28 cm (11 inches) wide, 18 cm (7 inches) deep and 13 cm (5.25 inches) tall.
