First Pattern WW2 Fairbairn-Sykes Commando Fighting Knife by Wilkinson

This first pattern Fairbairn-Sykes knife, expertly crafted by Wilkinson Sword, is a legendary icon of close combat weaponry. Designed during World War II by British commandos William Fairbairn and Eric Sykes, this knife embodies simplicity and lethality.  Its double-edged, finely tapered blade measures around 6.75 inches, offering exceptional combat capabilities. The hilt is meticulously crafted with a chequered grip and characteristic s-curved crossguard. It is complete with original leather scabbard and features the Wilkinson Sword and FS logos on the ricasso along with serial numbers near the pommel.

~ Condition ~

The blade is excellent with very light pitting across the surface. The point and edges remain sharp and are free from nicks. Etchings on the ricasso and serial numbers are very clear.
