~ Frederick Gordon Fraser ~
Frederick Gordon Fraser, who exhibited in 1907 at Elands Art Gallery in Exeter (both river landscapes), was a member of the famous Huntingdonshire family of artists and is believed to be the second son of Robert Winchester Fraser and was born on the 6th November 1879. His biographical information is listed in Hidden Talents, the excellent book by Jeremy Wood.
There appears to be some confusion over this artist’s exact name. He is variously listed on the auction record sites as Francis Gordon, Francis George, Frederick G., F. Gordon, F.G. Fraser and F. Fraser, although the signatures are all the same.
