*German, WW2 - c.1939–1940, Waffen-SS Motorised Unit Photograph Archive, Early-War Western Campaign, 22 Original Agfa Lupex Snapshot Photographs*
An exceptional and highly cohesive original group of twenty-two Second World War Waffen-SS private snapshot photographs documenting the activities of an early-war motorised Waffen-SS formation during the opening campaigns of the war, almost certainly connected to operations in France and the Low Countries during 1940.
All photographs are original period prints on matching Agfa Lupex photographic paper with consistent machine-punched serrated deckled borders, strongly indicating a single privately assembled wartime grouping compiled by one soldier or members of the same unit. The photographs provide a remarkably complete visual narrative ranging from pre-deployment imagery in Germany through convoy operations, reconnaissance activity, field camps, occupation service, and candid daily life behind the lines.
The archive includes numerous sharply detailed photographs showing identifiable Waffen-SS personnel wearing early-war field uniforms with distinctive pre-August 1940 piped Sig-rune collar tabs, M36 field tunics with dark bottle-green collars, Schiffchen side caps, Waffen-SS sleeve eagles, and proprietary SS camouflage equipment including reversible camouflage helmet covers and camouflage smocks.

Overall good original wartime condition throughout with expected period handling wear, corner creasing, light surface abrasions, minor silvering, and age-related marks. Several photographs display minor edge wear, soft focus, motion blur, or small storage stains consistent with authentic field-used snapshot albums.
