~ 1911 King George V and Queen Mary Coronation Porcelain Beaker ~
A commemorative porcelain beaker issued in 1911 for the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary.
The beaker is white with a gilt edge. To the front is a transfer print of King George V and Queen Mary with flowers, flags and royal crest decoration.
To the reverse is a transfer print depicting a seated figure with a scroll under reading “Gosport and Alverstoke”.
On the underside of the beaker there are what look to possibly be some script but it is not legible and if it were script then most likely got smudged at the time of manufacture.

The beaker is 4 inches (10cm) in height with a diameter of 3 inches (8cm). It weighs 133g.
~ Condition ~
The beaker is in really good condition. The transfer print to the front has a little wear over the date. The gilt rim has minimal wear. There is a very small flea bite chip to the base.
