Description

~ Half Stocked Flint Lock Ottoman Empire “Kubur” ~

An early 19th Ccentury Western European style flintlock nice pistol with brass butt plate and spurs, wood
stock, floral patterned decorated lock, Balkan characteristic vertically striated striker plate, octagonal rear barrel and barrel tang.
Barrel possibly has maker’s name (not deciphered) included in barrel scrolling.
All brass furniture is ornate and the butt cap has long side spurs,

~ Condition ~

The pistol has signs of age to it with some small gaps between stock and butt cap edge.
The ramrod is a replacement one.
The lock plate is tightly fitted.
The pistol half cocks, cocks and releases.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece is 17 1/2 inches long (44.5 cm).
