~ HMS Devonshire (D39) Boat Badge ~
This is the HMS Devonshire (D39) boat badge from the County-class heavy cruiser launched in 1927, converted to a training ship in 1947, and sold in 1954.
This badge is made from bronze with a rope border surmounted by a Royal Navy crown and the ships name “Devonshire” below. The crest itself features a red painted rampant lion set against a golden background.
The back carries a brass hanging device for wall display.

The sign measures 7 inches (18 cm) in diameter excluding the crown.
It weighs 3.5Kg.
~ Condition ~
The paintwork remains strong with minor age related wear.
The back shows some amount of scratches but the item has aged well.
