Description

~ Kings Own Norfolk Imperial Yeomanry Troopers Helmet Special Pattern 1902-09 ~

A fair example with a black leather skull, a brass plume holder and yellow horsehair plume.

The brass helmet plate has a crowned E. VII. R. plate with laurel wreath and 3 part scroll.

There is a foliate spray, brass rosettes, chin scales and a leather lining.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition.

The leather backing on the chin scales is missing as is the backstrap. The skull has general crazing and knocks.

~ Dimensions ~

The helmet with the plume is 36cm (14 inches) tall, fore of aft 29 cm (11.25 inches) and 19cm (7.5 inches) wide.
