A Royal Navy silver and guilloche enamel compact dated for 1934.

The compact is of square form with hinged lid.

The lid with Navy blue guilloche enamel decoration with applied George VI crown to centre.

The underside has engine turned decoration.

Inside is recess for powder and has a mirror in the lid.

The compact is hallmarked for Silver, Birmingham, 1934 with a makers stamp of ‘JWB’ for John William Barrett.

~ Dimensions ~

The compact measures 7.6cm (3 inches) by 7.6cm (3 inches).

It weighs 126g.

~ Condition ~

There is some surface scratching to the enamel and a very small and shallow dent to the underside but otherwise the compact is in a
very nice condition with no damages.
