Description

~ Light Dragoon Flintlock Officers Pistol by Clark ~

The lock of the piece is engraved Clark. The barrel bears Birmingham-style Proof marks.
The trigger guard is made of decorated brass with a nice pineapple finial.

The barrel has an early octagonal breech. The original wood stock is decorated with a pair of silver cartouches.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel length is 9 inches (23 cm) and the overall length of the pistol is 14 1/2 inches (37 cm).

~ Condition ~

The pistol half cocks, cocks and releases.

The metalwork is pitted.

The woodwork has suffered repairs over the years.
