~ Moorcroft Spike Pattern Small Vase ~
A small Moorcroft pottery vase in the ‘Spike’ pattern designed by Nicola Slaney and dated for 1998.
The vase is of inverted baluster form with a slightly flared neck.
It has tube line decoration of red, orange and yellow stylised flowers on a beige ground raising to dark green/deep blue to the top and lowe rims.
The base of the vase is impressed with the “MOORCROFT MADE IN ENGLAND” stamp, the date symbol of an ‘iron’ for 1998, and the initials ‘WM’ ‘JK’ and ‘AB’.
It is signed ‘N Slaney’ and dated ’14/5/98′.
~ Dimensions ~
The vase has a diameter of 3 ½ inches (9cm) and a height of 6.2 inches (16cm).
It weighs 460g.
~ Condition ~
There is a reasonable amount of crazing to the glaze but otherwise the vase is in a lovely condition with no damages or signs of wear.
