    ~ Pair Of Tibetan 19th Century Phurbas ~

    The pieces are beautifully and intricately cast in brass.

    The phurba or kīla is a three-sided peg, stake, knife, or nail-like ritual implement traditionally associated with Indo-Tibetan Buddhism, Bön, and Indian Vedic traditions.

    It is associated with the practice of the yidam (Sanskrit ishtadevata, Tibetan yidam) or meditational deity Vajrakīlaya or Vajrakīla.

    ~ Condition ~

    The pieces are in excellent order.

    ~ Dimensions ~

    The phurbas are 37 cm (14.5 inches) in length. The pair weighs 2.53 Kg.
