~ Boxed Dinky Toys No. 152 Royal Tank Corps Light Tank Unit Set #3 ~
The set was produced from 1937 to 1941.
The set is composed of three vehicles: a Light Tank (Dinky no. 152a), an Austin Seven Car (Dinky no. 152c) and a Reconnaissance Car (Dinky no. 152b). All of them are made of metal.
The vehicles color is dark matt green and the chassis of the tank and reconnaissance car are also green.
The tank has a white triangular division sign on the turret side.
The underside of each vehicle reads:
‘Dinky Toys Made in England by Meccano LTD’.
This set was made in Liverpool.
This set comes in its original blue box. The box retains its insert stand and opens from the front with a country side scene.
~ Dimensions ~
The light tank is 6.5 cm long by 3.5 cm wide and 3.5 cm high.
The Austin Seven car is 5.5 cm long by 2.5 cm wide and 3 cm high.
The reconnaissance car is 9 cm long by 3 cm wide and 3.5 cm high.
The box length is 27 cm (10.6 inches), its width is 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) and its height is 5.5 cm (2.1 inches).
~ Condition ~
The set is in average condition with wear signs. The vehicle’s paint is worn. On the Austin the frontal wheels axe and its driver are missing. Also the left wheel guard is damaged. The front rubber tiers from of the reconnaissance car are partially melted. The box is worn but is still in one piece.
