Description

~ Rare Circa 1750 Brass Hilted Scottish Basket Sword ~

The blade has later engraving. The broad blade has 2 full length fullers to either side, the basket and pommel are of brass.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition.  The blade has blackening and nicks to the edge. The grip is in good order. The brass guard has several snaps.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 98 cm (38.5 inches) in total length with a 81 cm (32 inch) blade.
