~ Silver Sheffield Electro Plated & Cut Glass Condiment Roberts & Belks ~
This is a vintage cut glass and EPNS (electro plated nickel silver) table condiment set. The set is comprised of a shaker, spoon and lidded jar and two bottles with stoppers.
This base is marked with R&B (Roberts & Belks), the genies lamp symbol is R&B’s trade mark.
I think the piece dates to around the 1930’s.
~ Dimensions ~
The set has a total height of 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) and the base has a size of 5.25 inches (13.5 cm). It’s total weight is 1.31 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The silver plate has worn away in a few place but the set holds a bright shine generally.
The rings have detached from the central steams in two places, it still lifts solidly though.
