Description

~ Victorian 1827 Pattern Staffordshire Volunteer Rifles Sword ~

The sword has a black shark skin grip, steel rifles guard and etched blade for the Staffordshire Volunteer Rifles. The scabbard is of steel with two suspension loops. The ricasso bears the manufacturers name – Hill Bros. of Old Bond Street, London.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for condition. Both the sword and scabbard are in good order.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 98 cm (38.25 inches) in total length with a 83 cm (32.5 inches) blade.
