~ WW1 Austro-Hungarian Medal For Bravery ~
A small bronze bravery medal with Austria emperor Karl I on observe side which reads: ‘Carlovs D.G. IMP. AVST. REX. BOH. Etc. ET REX Apost. Hvng.’ (Karl, by the grace of God, Emperor of Austria, King of Bohemia etc. and Apostolic King of Hungary).
The reverse it reads “FORTITVDINI” (For Bravery, in Latin)
The medal was introduced from the 15th of September 1917.
The designer of the medal is Katsch – left down on observer.

The diameter of the medal is 3.2 cm (1.2 inches).
~ Condition ~
The medal is in average condition. The ribbon with its ring are missing.
