~ WW1 Carlton Crested China Model Of British Machine Gun – Leven ~
A fine white china model of a WW1 British machine gun, with an open stand, crest and gilt detailing.
To the front of the gun is a crest for ‘Leven’.
To the reverse we have the title ‘Model of British Machine Gun’.
To the top of the gun are the letters ‘MG’ within a green wreath.
To the base is the stamp for ‘Carlton China’.
~ Dimensions ~
The gun is 4 inches (10cm) long and the base is 2 ½ inches (6.5cm) wide. It weighs 35g.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in really great condition with no cracks or chips. The gilding has minimal wear.
