~ WW1 German Sweetheart Purse and Picture of 12 Dragoon Guards ~
The purse is bearing a miniature cockade an laurel, like the ones found on the officers caps, above number 12.
Inside we’ve found a slightly damaged cap cockade and the picture of the officer who’s sweetheart was using the purse.
The reverse of the picture reads ’12 October 1916 Garde-Dragoner Essen-Ostern’ (translated 12 Oct 1916, Garde-Dragoons, Essen, Easter).
