A nice brass desktop model of a Second World War era Royal Air Force Supermarine Spitfire aircraft.

The brass model has a moving propeller and detail to undercarriage.

It is mounted on brass arm with an oval brass base. It is was most likely made by an RAF ground crew artificer during WW2, it has all the characteristics of those pieces.

~ Dimensions ~

The spitfire has a span of 22cm (8 ½ inches) and a height on base of 15cm (6 inches).

It weighs 916g.

~ Condition ~

The piece has lost some of its lustre with spotting to the top of the model and discolouration to the base, but overall is in a very nice condition with no damage.
