~ WW2 German MG34 Tripod Adjustable Counterweight ~
This is a Second World War German MG 34 counterweight adjustable hook for the Anti Aircraft tripod.
The piece has a central plate that can be fitted at the end of a concrete or heavy steel weight. This plate is then hooked to a central shaft with two adjustable hooks on each side.
Rotating the central shaft when both ends are hooked results in elevating or lowering the weight, so helping the gravity centre of the tripod to be placed as low as possible.

The plate is 17 cm by 8.5 cm.
The shaft with the screws in is 27 cm and fully extended is 42 cm.
The set weighs 1.8kg.
~ Condition ~
The set is in great condition with some loss of paint, as expected for its age.
