Description

This is an airtight, wooden ammunition box for the German P08 Luger pistol. It would have been used to store the 8mm Luger ammunition during World War 2. The box is lead lined and says “B Luftdichter Patronenkasten” on the lid or “Airtight Cartridge Box”. Inside, it contains the original label which explains the type of ammunition and when it was made.

*Condition*

The box is in very good condition for its age and usage. The zinc lining has some areas of oxidisation and the wood has some minor marks and scratches. The front label is partly missing. Please see pictures for more detail.
