*WW2, German, Wehrmacht, Mess Hall Porcelain, White Tea Cup and Saucer, Marked H. U.(Heeres Unterkunft), by Rhenania, of Duisdorf Bonn*
The Cup and Saucer look like a pair, which is very rare to find. Both are nicely marked with the Heer eagle, “H.U.” which stands for “Heeres Unterkunft” literally meaning army accommodation – basically the Nazi Army supply (Quartermaster) group. The saucer is also maker marked “Rhenania, of Duisdorf, Bonn” and dated “1939”.
Rhenania Porzellanfabrik GmbH was a porcelain manufacturer based in the Duisdorf district of Bonn . Between 1904 and 1958, hotel tableware and decorative porcelain were produced here.

The cup and saucer show light signs of wear commensurate with age and service. The markings are clear. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
