~ 19th Century Dixons & Sons Silvered Copper & Brass Powder Flask ~
To the front is a round git medallion depicting a hunting scene with two bloodhounds and a hunter looking on in the background. The body is of silvered copper and the nozzle of silvered steel and brass.
The makers mark has been etched into the side of the nozzle and it has 3 settings.
~ Dimensions~
The flask has a length of 8 inches (20cm), a width of 3.5 inches (8.5cm) and a depth of 1 inch (2.5cm). It weighs 215g.
~ Condition ~
The body and neck have several dents & dings, please refer to the images. The silvering and gilt are worn through in areas. There is no spring. The nozzle adjusts well.
