~ Bank Note Cigars Cardboard Countertop Shop Advertising Sign c1930’s ~
A great sign that would have sat on counter tops and in display windows of many a tobacconists in the 1930’s.
The sign shows two men smoking above an open box of bank note cigars.
It has an easel style display allowing it to freely stand.
The cigar box is partially cut out to give a 3 dimensional effect.
Both the sign and easel back are made of good sturdy cardboard.
~ Dimensions ~
The signs stands 21 inches (53cm) high and is 13 ¾ inches (35cm) wide. It weighs 250g.
~ Condition ~
The sign is in excellent condition for a cardboard sign of its age. It has the expected scuffed edges, a few splits and a slight bend near the bottom, but it has minimal wear in general. The easel back is in working order and it stands freely.
