Original Item: Only One Available. The Zuckerman helmet was a British helmet designed for use by civil defence organizations and the general public during World War II. It was researched and designed by Solly Zuckerman, Derman Christopherson and Hugh Cairns.
This example is not marked but is likely to have been a firewatchers helmet, replaced later by the title ‘Fire guard’. It also has been marked with a triangular logo with the letters PSC, for the Pressed Steel Company of Oxford on the inside rim. The inner rim of the helmet is also stamped with a date code of 8 41 and the liner bears the letters BMB and the size of 6 and 3/4.

This Helmet bears the scratches, scuffs, and small dents as you would expect from a helmet that has been through a war.
The liner is in fair condition with only a small amount of the leather delaminating around the edge.
The liner is still well fixed however there is no chin strap.
