In June 1940, France was occupied by German troops. They recognized the highly qualified and powerful optics and recruited the company Huet for making these binoculars for the German armed forces.
These binoculars are finished in a textured leather.

Both tubes are a bit polluted, but for the age of these binoculars you have a sharp picture and a relative good view.
The rubber eye cups have deteriorated but the lens gives a sharp picture.
There is some wear and tear to the metal and the textured leather but the item presents well.
