~ Circa 1910 British 1821 Pattern Royal Artillery Officers Sword And Scabbard By J R Gaunt & Son ~
The blade has a single fuller along two thirds of its length.
On the ricasso are the proofing star and Gaunts details, it is numbered 14508 along the spine.
It comes with its brown leather field scabbard.
~ Condition ~
The blade has quite a bit of corrosion near its tip. The shagreen grip is decent, the wire binding stretched in a few places. Tbe scabbard is poorly and is mostly split along its seams.
~ Dimensions ~
The sword is 104 cm (41 inches) in total length with a 88.5 cm (34.75 inches) blade.
