The enamelled badge is of gilt metal with a central winged shell and a brass pin.

It is back stamped for ‘Great War 1914-1918’ and ‘Did her bit for munitions’.

They were issued to women for WW1 factory war service.

The badge is in excellent order.

Each side of the badge is 4cm (1.5 inches) wide.
