Inselsberg Steel-Toe WW2 German Jackboot

These are German WW2 Marching boots produced by Inselsberg. The Germans call this boot Marschstiefel, meaning “marching boot”.  Jack boots were widely used because worn out boots were considered a major problem for armies on the march, and the high-quality leather “jackboot” with its hobnails was deemed to be more durable.

*Condition*

Overall, the boots are in good condition.  The left boot is slightly discoloured from the right. The leather has no tears or cracks in it but is in need of a good polish. The sole of the boots are slightly weathered but still in good condition. Please see the images for more detail.
