Description

*Very Large 8 Bore Sport Percussion Musket*

A very nice large bore, single barrel percussion musket. Fitted with a walnut stock with hand chequering and metal stock plate and sling ring. The heavy barrel is a massive 37 inches long and is chambered in an 8 bore (approx). 52.5" total length. Full length ramrod with ball filial. The barrell is marked 612.

*Condition*
In good condition. Heavy pitting in parts. Cocks and dry-fires but the hammer has been broken and is too short. The wood shows minor age related wear and tear but has a great patina. The stock plate is missing a screw. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
