~ c1900 Sterling Silver Rimmed Glass Matchstick Holder ~

This spherical glass matchstick holder has a silver rim and a ribbed outer surface on which to strike matches.

 The piece is hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, 1900.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece has a diameter of 4.5cm (1 ¾ inches) and a height of 4cm (1 ½ inches).

It weighs 103g

~ Condition ~

There are a few minor dings/marks to the silver and the same with the glass but overall the piece is in a nice condition.
